Thanks for your answer. Because the 3000 models aren’t jail-breakable and they’re almost exactly the same as the 2500 models except the motherboard and they also don’t have the shiny disc tray. Might as well get a 2500 if you ever decide to jailbreak down the line. I've got both 2503A and 3003A.

I personally have a slim, not a super slim and i dont understand why people go crazy over ps3 fat’s, they overheat, ylod and rlod easily and make tons of noise. The slim is quieter and the super slim is even more silent. They say the lid breaks, well thats because you fucking broke it, brad.
PS3 and PS4 launch hardware looks great and give the feel of a premium device but slim models/refreshes of both system don't follow that ethos, and it's the exact opposite with Xbox, both 360 S and 1S look far better than the launch hardware.
Super slim is fine, runs a lot cooler and more silent than any other PS3 model. If you don't like the looks, get a white one, or a blue one, or whatever other color is available. White looks really great, imo.

Feb 8, 2016. #27. I've owned all three versions of the PS3, and I'd say it's second only to the Slim, and that's purely because the plastic feels a little cheap. Functionality wise, I've found the Super Slim to work perfectly, and have no more issues than the Slim or Fat.
